My army woke it up with a special message I had not got any other time within my mail at the bottom:

"Rumour reports that after your units disappeared in the Corrupted Lands, more land became twisted and dark. Verdant jungle has become infested with putrid fungus and dark creepers, as though the destruction of your forces had fuelled the spread of the corruption to nearby lands."

That’s the standard message you get for troops landing on Audrey before she’s started beating, probably what happened is the army that woke audrey got that message and all your subsequent ones got the different message for when they land while she’s already beating

Are you sure ? I thought the message you get every time is:

Rumours suggest that, after many deaths in the Corrupted Lands, the contagion spreads to more surrounding lands. But there is no report that following the loss of your units, the corruption has spread. 


The one I posted looks slightly different.

Message after heart wakes 
Rumours suggest that, after many deaths in the Corrupted Lands, the contagion spreads to more surrounding lands. But there is no report that following the loss of your units, the corruption has spread.

The vines already curl and twist with a malevolent energy, a dull thumping beat already echoes through the jungle; however, the deaths of your units have not exacerbated the situation.
