HM, again, I consider the source and am just relaying what he told me, but Diablito singled you out in particular and claimed he somehow tracked your online activity here and that you didn't log off for several days straight. You must never sleep.
Anyway, since WHITE and maybe to some extent BLACK seems to be in shatters, anyone in those alliances that are still around, I invite you to join FDU. It may not be the warmongering alliance you are used to but you may find satisfaction in being protectors for newbies and other parts of the game like trade (T2 is coming soon).

Personally speaking, I am inclined to agree with you HM, and in absence of any challenging viewpoints may I be the first to publicly offer congratulations to H? on their leadership in the matter.
I also could not have chosen a better turn of phrase than "strung along". I'm not sure who to feel more sorry for, Black, or White. Nevertheless, we shall see what becomes of Black in time.

I suppose it's plausible that since they all came together, they also all left together when they didn't get their own way. I don't think there is anything we could have done to entice them to stay short of offering our bare necks on a silver platter.
When I say "they all" I do mostly mean White. I have some intel suggesting at least some Black players are still around but have no leadership and understandably aren't rushing to sacrifice themselves in battle alone. Our position on refugees is already well known, and we're aware that Black were mostly strung along with little justification or even direction. There is still plenty of opportunity for those players to thrive under new management.

Nearly 48 hours and no response to my tenet.
Personally, I'm beginning to believe Diablito was a sandwich short of a picnic. What I don't understand is how the entirety of White managed to disappear pretty much in the space of three weeks with nary a peep or a whisper of why. Was it a mass exodus or a slow bleed? Was it deterministic or casual? I spend 3 weeks away and return to a deserted ship.
The synchronicity of the situation suggests many things about the causes of White's inactivity. As it stands, however, there can be no doubt as to the current state of the White/H? power struggle, which is clearly in H?'s favour.

I love the part where we all play 24/7...half of us are just returning from vacations, and I was working 64 hours a week for the last month. We do play a fairly serious game, but many of us are mature adults, so that's the attitude and set of sensibilities we bring to the table. I for one wouldn't enjoy just screwing around any more than I would rolling newbies like a juvenile high-school bully. I don't think White's leadership ever had realistic expectations of what they'd get out of a browser-based game, or especially what it would take to run a large/prominent alliance. It doesn't matter how simple and non-grinding the game is...managing people and directing operations take real effort. MMO's are different in that you never really do either of those things. You just fool around with other people who happen to do the same thing as you at the same time, and maybe play at a little office politics. There's far less need for original/real organizational, political, and ethical structure--even internally, let alone political structures at an inter-organizational level.

It's simple. All we need is one member of White to say that they are still playing, or for someone else to provide evidence of an active White attack/defense.

Actually I spoke to Diablito on the Illyriad chat channel and my interprtation of what he said is that the many gave up playing a while ago and that the WHITE/H? war was over long before H? "officially" declared war on WHITE, BLACK, and MK. Of course it was filled with the typical accusations/excuses that we're all probably already familiar with ( H? plays 24/7, attacks WHITE when they are on vacation, has tools to help them cheat). According to him H? takes the game way too serious and people in WHITE just couldn't be bothered. Take this with a grain of salt considering the source, but I also don't 100% dismiss it. I'm sure some WHITE still play and are actively fighting H?, but it does seem that though the fighting may not be done, the war is over and was won by H?

Ok. If White are still playing let someone in White say so. Easy.

Dont think white have stopped playing altogether, i think maybe a few players in their alliance have stopped but not bothered to tell anyone else as its unlikely 41 players would all give the game up at once and some players may be away on their holidays, so i think its unlikely given how much work some of them have put into their cities and buying prestige.
