I think it would be reasonable for all of us to voluntarily avoid holocaust-related conversational topics that can be so easily received by this forum's readers (many of whom are European and thus more likely to take it personally) as genuinely offensive--whether in the context of humor, role-playing, metaphorical threats, or character portrayal. Godwin doesn't need our assistance.
I don't like censoring our own members and there have been no instructions handed down, but I hope my colleagues will agree with me anyway. As SC would put it, let's stick to polite dinner conversation if possible. |

Edit: Stormcrow has pointed out that official policy is to neither confirm nor deny who is or isn't a MOD, so please disregard what I said here earlier.

Ok, you got me, I am really Hitler currently sitting on my computer in Argentina trying to start the fourth reich with Illyriad and White as my base of power.
Clearly comparing me to a nazi is not at all taking this game too seriously, I mean i've murdered a lot of innocent code.

Liberty, this is indeed offensive if it were a joke. However, there is absolutely no humor in this situation. The White company is taking this exact tack to describe their war against Harmless. What Creature is describing is pure fact, not some fictional entertainment some of us find "humorous." There's nothing humorous about it. You should go back and read this thread, and you will find that Diablablabla is saying he will do those exact things to Harmless and their families.

sorry to say but i find this kind of humor particularly offensive due to the fact that allot of my ancestors WERE KILLED in Poland and other Nazi controlled territories concentration and work camps. and it is a sore spot for me not to say that i have straightened people up for certain Holocaust comments. and i request this not be taken lightly and request any other concentration camp humor be spared for a private chat amongst yourselves IN PERSON NOT ON LINE.

Rwdnyll thinks that there lays the conundrum...
As for furries, fluffy would seem more appropriate to answer questions about scritching...
