That's the main reason I would decline. Plus such an exercise would burn a lot of gold and resources, and my sov would be on troops instead of items. I wouldn't want the tournament supplies to run low. |

The reason people do not like war in Elgea is because they take things personally and think this game is somehow related to real life. There is also the mob mentality where everyone gets sucked into kicking the loser to pieces and rejoice while doing it. Live with it. People wanting to take things personally should stay in Elgea and those who actually came here to enjoy a war game should move to BL. That way Elgean conflicts can continue the way things have been in the past and those wanting a more fun approach and not thinking it is the end of the world when war breaks out should move to BL.

I believe that the main reason that prevent even a War of Walls is that in Illy there is no prior knowledge when a tournament is coming so many alliances tend to save their troops just in case.
I know that there is some value for surprise tournaments, but prior knowledge would allow a much more dynamic use of troops.

I second fiona's statement. I'd planned a couple of WoW, even though i would like peace, some friendly skirmishes are good.
Unfortunately I had to pull out of these

Why not ask this question? Its a valid question, War is fun. But no one seems to want to do it. Even a WoW is impossible to get any takers. I mean, you're only out some troops and stone. Why not play every aspect of the game? Its there, use it. Why build troops if you don't use them? Fiona

The fact that so few voted in this poll is a vote unto itself.
