Update 01APR

You may have noticed the green, blue and red boxes up top on your summaries bar. These are clickable and provide some information about what is happening in the various parts of your empire - your city building projects, troop and diplo movements, and trade movements.

Those users who are in 1024x768 screen resolution will have found the right hand summaries have disappeared, so that the entire gameplay window fits on your screen.

Each of the unit summary pages (Military Summary, Diplomatic Summary, Trade Summary) now has a submenu item "Present" which shows you a lot more information about what is present in your city, including the composition of armies and reinforcements and upkeep costs.

The Research Summary page now shows the research in process at the top of the Summary submenu.

We understand that this means that users at 1024x768 screen resolution will temporarily have a couple more clicks to get to the information they used to have on the right hand side. However, the next step for us is to include all the details from the right hand side windows (Next Events & Units Present) in the popup menus when you click on these headers, meaning that all the information is on your main page, one click away. Superseded by update 02 APR, damn those pesky devs and their constantly shifting sands-of-release!

Users in any width resolution larger than 1024x768 will continue to see the full screen with the right-hand side menus.

• Players now receive a generic ingame mail notifying them when any hostile diplomatic mission works against them - whether it was successful or unsuccessful. This message does not identify who sent the units, or indeed what the mission was. It's simply to tie up the loose end of "I saw incoming units, they arrived and nothing happened".
