Trade Tournament

All players are welcome to participate in the upcoming Trade Tournament! The only condition is that you join the Illyriad Trade Union. The Illyriad Trade Union (ITU) is not an alliance, but an international organisation. No defence obligations arise, if you join!

If you have Ideas what kind of exercise would be needed to make a Trade Tournament interesting, pleas post in this tread! We also collected some ideas here.

If you want to know how to become a member of the ITU, have a look here (you also get a lot of information about the ITU). Everybody is welcome!

I agree. The Trade Union will work much better if and when T2 is fully established (and there is no global market anymore). Then it will be helpful. And it can be a nice tool for networking and an additional diplomatic tool for alliances. It is also possible to trade things you could not trade in Illyriad until now, like information, long-term contracts (which will allow a higher degree of specialisation), diplomatic or military operations, magic, credits…

I think it can work.

We are thinking about different forms of the tournament. Properly we will choose three different competitions. If you have other ideas, please let me know.

• Invite the most players
  The Union Member that convinces the most other players to join the ITU wins
• Sign the most trade contracts
  The Union Member that signs the most trade contracts wins.
• Earn the most money
  The Union Member with the highest value of signed trade contracts wins.
• Develop the most creative idea/business concept
  Found a bank or another company or post the most creative ways how to make business in the ITU in the Trade Assembly forum. Also other forms of creative ideas are welcome and will be taken into account. The Trade Council will elect the winner.
