It would be nice if the Trade Overview page also told you how many units that your town could support.  Say I only have 1 cotter recruited but have 2 cottages built, it would be nice to see that I can still recruit 1 cotter.

+1, the old approach "just try to build 100, and it will tell you how many you can build" is clumsy.

Yeah, the try to build 100 thing is made a little harder by the wall o text that appears and explains the math about how many are traveling, present, harvesting, etc.  I liked it better when it just said "and you already have xx."  If I want to know where my xx are, I can go to the Trade Overview.  Or you could tell me how many I'm allowed to build in the trade overview.  Either way would make this a bit more convenient.

Before someone weighs in about how things are supposed to be hard, yada, yada, I don't mind a challenge, but it should be a meaningful challenge, and I don't think "ability to quickly decipher wall of text to glean important information" is meaningful the 50th time you do it.
