Hi all,
as Koda stated he'll start collecting data this weekend. He will provide a form to do that. We need three things from each participant in order for you to join the tournament. a) Your player name (so basically you name in the game) b) Your player ID c) Your Combat reports API key (this may change if the tournament API is releases in time) How can you obtain these? a) Your name in the game. Mine would be Digioso. b) Check out the below picture: ![]() c) Open this link: http://elgea.illyriad.co.uk/#/Player/Account?page=api There is a Key text field behind the text "Combat Reports". Click in the text field, hit CTRL+A (or whatever you need to do on your Operating system to do that) to mark the whole key. Copy it to the clipboard and paste it into the form that will be provided. I guess alliances should check which player joins them during the tourney.
To add on this: When the script encounters this it'll produce a warning message that Koda will see. And it'll account the occupation time to Alliance A. So the player in Alliance B will help Alliance A with this. |

The tourney disqualifier flaw is when the player moves from alliance A to alliance B, alliance B can then also occupy the square and add to the defense. only if player is already occupying the square as part of alliance A So problem is that asshole 1 can form accounts, join alliances, occupy/reinforce on their squares once tourney starts and all is fine. If asshole 1 leaves those alliances and joins another alliance which contains asshole 2, asshole 2 can then reinforce asshole 1 on every square he was on and all innocent original alliances that asshole 1 was in get disqualified from tourney. A big enough asshole could get every alliance disqualified

No you don't need to be in the participating alliance before generating the key. But you most be in the alliance before the start of the Tournament

I will be using the combat API key if the imited data api key isnt release by this weekend. unfortunately I have to so this. And yes the player will been to generate a key.

The relevant API key you are wanting is from the "Combat Reports" option on the http://elgea.illyriad.co.uk/#/Player/Account?page=api correct? Do players need to be in the participating alliance before generating this key for you? Thanks!

BTW I have moved up when i will start collecting API keys to this weekend regardless if the limited data api key is done If this means your alliance wont be taking part I am sorry but i need time to collect API keys and playerID and check for any mistakes
