Yeah thanks for the tool.I do have some confusion. How would you add the commander bonuses as they are in percentages? Plus you would have to do this every time you make troops to help you. It would be better suited automatically with the commanders bonuses.

My military summary tools is at http://illyriad.honoredsoft.com/tools/calculators.php (which reads from scout or attack reports and the "units present" page, and also can add up base resource costs for units or advanced resources).  But as CranK said, it does not factor in commander bonuses or personal strength.  There's no source of that information for scout/attack reports.  You could however use it to sum up the basic strength of your own divisions before adding the commander's bonus and personal strength.

ah yes here we are. know your basic attacking/defending power, and automatically know the basic attak/ defence power of someone else if you successfully scout him :p

that's clearer, i didnt get the point to know your attacking power just for the pleasure to know it or to put equal forces on each division...

well ok, then yeah that would be a good add on :)

Exactly. Now it you wanted to go futher you could have it to where when you scout you could disern the level and abilites of the enemy commanders plus the total strength of the enemy army. That would be pretty cool. Plus all they would have to do with the terrian would be to offically make up bonuses for them. But as Lokifeyson said all I want to know is the strength of my army without all the math. If you want to go a step further thats fine.Smile

any idea that makes my life easier, is always a good idea :)

he just wants to know the strength of his army without having to do the math (and terrain wouldn't need to be a part of the equation, just a basic, at that present time, strength or power or attack or whatever u wanna call it)

to talk about the subject... in what knowing only your attack power will help you? if you want it to guess if you will win a battle or not, you will need to consider the defense of your opponents and know the terrain bonus.
or to calculate ennemy's defense you need to do the maths to consider the defence against each type of soldier, and that's long, and i dont think that can be computerised "officially" because the exact bonus terrains gives are actually not officially known... but if what u want is a calculator, ask to H? they might consider your ask.

We are not talking about what makes your army strong just about a panel that would tell you the attack and defensive strength for your armys, divisions, and your commanders. This would help you divide your troops as you could have multiple divisions with different units in each and still have the same strength in both. I know this can be done already but as Ive said it takes too long to do.
