I have an idea that the divisions should have a total attack and defensive strength. This would be caculated by adding all the strengths and weakness of the units together with the commander's strength and bonus's.
There should also be a total attack and defensive strength for commanders alone.

There is. In 1 army you can make as many divisions as you like. As its still 1 army (but with multiple divisions) it will attack as 1. This means its allraidy 1 big total attack/defence power.

I know this but you know the attack and defensive bonus's commanders can give to divisions? Well I would like to know what that attack power or defense power is. So even though its all 1 big attack/defense strength I would like to know what that attack/defense power is.

That is just a math issue.
1. Just take the attack/defence power from every unit -> http://uk1.illyriad.co.uk/view_all_units.asp?unit=0 (when logged in) 2. Than multiply this with the amount of units you have for that class. 3. Add the commander % bonus that your commander gives. 4. Add the personal commander strenght that you have leveled. That should give you a accurate total attack power. There is also a calculator for this on honouredsoft.com/calculators but it doesn't add the commander bonus yet (not sure if I got the adress correct) Edited by CranK - 16 Jan 2011 at 20:34 |

It should not involve math. Math is for people who can't guess.

Feral,
Many of the threads you post your silly comments in are intended to be serious threads. You are welcome to add constructive comments and include humor in your comments. However, when you are posting silly comments that add nothing the overall content of a thread, you are just spamming that thread. Spamming a thread wastes my time and the time of all the other active forum readers because we check out the threads that show activity since our last visits.
I recommend you start your own thread in
The Caravanserai
A place to just chat about whatever takes your fancy, whether it's about Illyriad or not. With your own thread under that topic, you could post all the silly, pointless comments you desire and all of us that are not interested or amused by your humor can simply ignore your thread in that topic area.
Thank you for your consideration of this matter.
