Griping is not disloyal...unless you are some sort of a fascist dictator or something, then I suppose it is.

TC is looking into this problem now, thank you TC.
Ossian every time a Director of H posts, you have to make a negative comment unrelated to the topic at hand, unless you have something constructive to add to the conversation do us all a favor and go away. I'm going to suggest you get control of your bitterness and take it somewhere else; it's getting old and tedious. Perhaps you are the one that needs to pack your bags.
I agree Malek, when you pay for a service you have a right to get what you pay for; the Devs are addressing the problem now. Again, thank you TC.

Pull your head in Ossian. If I spend money on a product I expect it to work in the manner it is intended. If I buy something from a shop and its broken I take it back and get it fixed/replaced. This situation is no different, since there is no recourse like that available as this is an online game it has been brought to the attention of the dev's. Good/bad whatever if it is not spoken about and there are more players experiencing this issue the forums is the place to do it and for these other players to also voice their experience with a broken mechanic.
If the mechanic is broken on a major issue like speeding vans up then it needs to be addressed, as this is probably the item that most prestige is spent on, I know it is for me.
As to this "Disloyal Carping", I have noted some minor venting yet nothing warranting the scorn and criticism displayed by you. This is very tame compared to other threads on this forum. If you pay for prestige then you should probably be in agreeance (unless you never help anyone out by prestiging vans to them), if you don't use prestige then go and find another thread to waste peoples time on.

I am not happy to see this continuous disloyal carping over minor bugs. If you don't like it here any longer then pack your bags instead of making it unpleasant for the rest of us.

I wonder if there is a difference between vans doing city to city trade via the market (not hub trades) and vans simply sent from city to city.
The experiences I've had where the vans returned more slowly, as I recall, were those for market trades. So someone bought my city to city market order and prestiged the caravan, which then got to his/her city nearly instantly, then took the regular amount of time to travel back to me.
So maybe market trades only prestige one way and city to city prestiges both ways when the receiver prestiges?
I'm not stating an opinion about how things SHOULD work, just trying to nail down how it does work. Does this seem at all familiar? |
None of the vans involved market trades, they were all to players.

This isn't in regards to market trades. They may be part of the problem, but not only.

I have not experienced this problem as yet, though from the many many times i have pres'ed the vans if i zip it straight away and it takes a minute to get to my town it should take a minute to get back ready for another go should it be required.
If this is not happening then it definitely needs to be looked at. Players spending money on pres is what keeps this game making new developments and prestiging vans across the map is probably a good percentage of how players spend it.

I've seen some other weird effects recently. Vans I was sure had 30mins to go suddenly delivered and gone etc.

I've had few problems using it in the manner that vans are prestige in both directions. I do believe there are some inconsistency that I see but overall little effect.
It appears clearly that Starry has a significant disadvantage compared to me in regards to this. Anything that gives one player an advantage or disadvantage over another due to a glitch should be corrected.
Also i've seen vans speed up both ways for months. I've not heard of an update nor seen any change in this for at least 6 months.
