This game is now pay to win.

Right now, in-game, anyone willing to keep buying prestige can never have their city sieged.

Without the ability to blockade caravans carrying primary resources, a prestiger can quick travel caravans to his town, quick build through sabataging, and keep building his city while the siegers can do nothing about it. No amount of catapults and keep up with that. And it buys the prestiger an unlimited amount of time to get his allies troops from across the map to help lift the siege.

The ability to blockade the transportation of primary resources is integral to the military components of the game. If it was the dev's intention to disable all military actions and turn this game into a e-commerce game, they should of removed all military actions and given everyone a permanent rainbows.

I like to think this was not the dev's intentions. But it happened none-the-less.

If you think I'm upset, your right. My alliance has been attempting to siege a town for 2 days. The siege has been on going for 2 days and the city is now DOUBLE the population size it was when we began. We had blockades up and captured many caravans before the patch, but have given up reinforcing the blockades since blockades don't do anything.

I know this works out great for the company... just keep buying prestige and you can never get sieged! But it is very unfair to anyone trying to siege anyone.

Totally an unintended consequence of the temporary necessity of disabling blockade. Thanks for bringing it to our attention. Hopefully we can restore the blockade function as soon as possible.

I realize that. I just want to emphasize how dramatic of a change removing blockade was, and how it interferes with the core military maneuvers of the game. I know everyone is busy with hording resources, but we made plans based on how the game operates. And without notice the core mechanics of the game changed, greatly hampering our plans. and costing us troops, resources, and most importantly time.

It's like saying tomorrow I login and all of a sudden the ability to reinforce another player is "temporarily disabled" without notice. It would ruin any defenders plans, but give a huge benefit to attackers.

The same thing just happened to people under siege.

That is assuming that the player has unlimited amount of gold to purchase items with and there are unlimited amount of offers in the market. This scenario is not possible.

Luna

Thank you for acknowledging. I know it has been brought up in global chat, but I didn't want this issue to be forgotten in the middle of "How/Where/Why do I use/spawn harvester"

your right, this still depends on either the gold supply of the player, the number of cities he has, and/or the amount of people willing to send him resources.

But with 2 accounts per player, and 5 towns per account... that's 9 towns that could ship resources to a sieging town without gold or alliance help.

Factor in how much gold everyone has stockpiled, and it gets a little insane.
