   Did any other Orcs out there manage to unlock the new unit yet?

You need 8 tentacles from Audrey... then you can train the Orctopus.

Has ranged and melee attacks: From a distance it fires black secretions 
and when it gets up close... well you better just hope you are NEVER up 
close.
