Ok I'm struggling to keep food positive, I think I've over expanded before getting resource gathering up to speed, so now I'm left trying to claw it back.

However despite reducing my tax rate to boost production I've got money and nothing to spend it on, is there anyway to buy food in over the short term?

I can't afford to build a caravan at the moment because of the resources it uses to upgrade my paddock and actually build a horse will finish me off, are there any other options open to me.

as far assa I no you can still builda the foodfarms, even when food is in red. So first build enough of these. Then nevah, evah, evah, evah, again allow yourself to go low on food again.
 
So sure, built up production, but always keep food at least a bit in the green.
 
I will send you 4 horsies and some food to help out.
(You can make some caravans then)
Bettah make good use of them, or I senda some of my orcies after ya!
