On October 3, 2017, the colonist empire, having united in friendship roughly 90% of all major settlements in Mal Motsha, and enjoying the enduring support of its cohabitors and allies in the Dark Star Armory and the Black Skull Horde proudly declared the former province of Mal Motsha an independent, sovereign nation-state. 

Government of the state legitimately lies with the imperial family, which, advised by an appointed legislative council, determines all state policies. All legitimate use of force within Mal Motsha, therefore, stems from Imperial mandate, as do any operations by Mal Motshan armies outside of its state borders. All Military operations by outside factions within the sovereign borders of Mal Motsha will be considered an act of aggression unless sanctioned by her imperial majesty. 

Settlement inside the state borders is the reserved right of its citizens and select treaty allies. Those wishing to settle in Mal Motsha are advised to file a citizenship application. Unsanctioned migrations across the state borders, either wilfully or by lack of understanding, will be dealt with according to imperial law. 

All natural resources found in and on the Mal Motshan soil rightfully belong to the state. Outside attempts to claim or steal the natural riches of the Mal Motshan people will be viewed as an act of aggression against the state.

We encourage the leaders of other political entities in Illyriad to view our path as one of progress, leading our people out of a volatile and violent age of tribal migrations and into a modern age of safety and prosperity within state borders. 

We recognise, however, that certain alliances still cling to their tribal freedoms. That they choose to wage war on those who would move forward. Of those alliances we ask a formal recognition of our fledgeling state and of her sovereign borders, to be declared here in public, for all of Illyriad to see, in perpetuity, so that we may embrace them as friends, rather than branding them potential enemies of the state.

The Hashashin recognizes TCol's sovereign statehood, and commends the work they've done to unify Mal Motsha. We encourage other alliances with predominant control of regions to follow suit and formally claim what is already ostensibly theirs, thus creating a truly "political" map in Illyriad.

As a former citizen of the TCol state, does short arse get rights in line with ex-pats irl?

This is a misrepresenting summary. What we are doing goes beyond the traditional view of a landclaim. Any modern state has borders and enforces its laws inside those borders. That is the bedrock of civilized society. But it would be overly simplistic to define a country solely by its borders. 

In any case, this thread was started with the express purpose of presenting other alliances with an opportunity to declare their recognition of our state. Please refrain from posting unless doing so for that express purpose. If anyone wishes to debate the concept of landclaims, there are surely other topics devoted to that subject. For specific inquiries on citizen rights, please contact me by IGM.

As leader of GRN, I am willing to recognise the existence of said state on the condition that short arse, as an ex-pat, is able to send troops into Mal Moshta for hunting holidays and the like.
