See? They may attack based on a certain time. Seems they hit earlier server hours.

Didn't mean to hit post. >.< So they added troops to your armies? O_o That seems buggy to me.

From Ryelle:  After several instances in which Skeleton armies passed over my troops at the Obelisk and left them unharmed, at last they have viciously attacked:

Two opposing forces clash against each other.

Cavalry comes into its own when able to strike hostile forces at will, and from unexpected directions - and nowhere is this more feasible than on open plains. Lightly armoured spear units, however, prefer terrain where there's some cover available.

Fighting defensively on open plains, cavalry draws strength from the ability to form and reform their lines of engagement depending on the direction of battle, and it is here where cavalry excels.

Message from Ryelle:

OK, my city was attacked a second time, 45 minutes after the first attack.  Again there were no attackers shown; again my rune triggered and killed no enemy units.  However, this time I seem to have more units in my army than I had before, and more than I could have built in that period.

What is happening to me???

Two opposing forces clash against each other.

Swordsmen, and especially cavalry, find attacking into very mountainous terrain difficult - although ranged units can excel.

Narrow passes and gulleys hinder any mounted units' ability to defend adequately. Nimble spear units have no such worries here, and defending bowmen are able to use their height advantage to maximum effect.

Note:  The message says the rune is expired, but the spell still shows as active with 250 charges.

Ryelle's rune was triggered, but shows no casualties and still has all its remaining charges:

An army was seen approaching the outskirts of your city. As they closed on the city, a mighty roar and a flash of mystic light burst forth the gates.

When the smoke cleared a number of their units lay smouldering on the ground, now fit only for carrion.

Units slain or damaged:

OMG - this is awesome!!!  (^_^)  can people space out camps and see what distance they will travel to attack.  I wonder if they attack the closest person or will continue to spread.  (:P)  Also, interesting idea that the caravan sacrifices may be spawning them.  (^_^)
