Undead near the activated standing stones at -488|182, now lets hope they dont attack me.

And if this is barley the tip of the undeadberg (lol), does that mean that we are all doomed? Will it get worse than it already is?

[01:40]<GM Stormcrow> @Comrade - There'll be a Herald update shortly. But I don't think they're only spawning from The Rift anymore. Perhaps the earthquake tremors have loosened up the groun above a few of those graveyards around the map...?
[01:41]<Ryelle> Stormcrow, as a person with a rather personal issue in this question ... is it likely that the undead armies are going to be getting bigger? as in a lot more troops in each army?
[01:42]<GM Stormcrow> @Ryelle - Understandable question from your perspective. Put it this way, we're not setting up specific areas of the map to be deathsville areas. The ones that *are* going to be deathsville are already pre-reserved and unsettlable.
[01:43]<GM Stormcrow> @Comrade - anywhere where units have been slain constitutes a potential graveyard...
[01:43]<Bluesnake99> gc will theas faction hubs send out diplo units
[01:44]<GM Stormcrow> @Bluesnake99 - Um. Well, the point of faction AI and faction AI expansions is to have factions act as full participants in the world of Illyriad, but without being unfair (ie endless sources of units competing with players on an unlevel playing field... that'd be no fun...)
[01:46]<GM Stormcrow> @Tarsius - Well... again, I'm not going into any great detail... but skeletons are only the tip of the undeadberg.

The Undead have been seen in the Middle Kingdom as well, coming from the activated standing stones

From Ryelle:  No mysterious additions to my troop count after this attack, more's the pity.  I guess that was a bug.  Do I get to keep the troops, or do I have to file a petition?

From Ryelle: First of two attacks; I came online after the first attack was already headed in; the notification for the second attack came about one hour before the second attack hit; the attacks are about 45 minutes apart.

Victorious defense by Ryelle's forces at Esperanza under attack by Skeleton Warriors (NPCs)'s forces from The Underworld

Two opposing forces clash against each other.

Swordsmen, and especially cavalry, find attacking into very mountainous terrain difficult - although ranged units can excel.

Narrow passes and gulleys hinder any mounted units' ability to defend adequately. Nimble spear units have no such worries here, and defending bowmen are able to use their height advantage to maximum effect.

An army of the Undead was seen approaching the outskirts of your city, and passed by your defensive wards as though they were not there.

There're quite a few of them in Kul Tar now, as well as the activated stones.

They are spawning from the stones!? I've seen the stones absorb them, but none have jumped out. I'm occupying one in my back yard. Will continue to report.
