Yea, I think the space gripe is just silly.

To clarify because I do believe this topic has been brought up many times already... Until myself or anyone else from the dev team says otherwise, there are no active plans to change the account sitting or inactive account rules. Our primary focus right now is the Broken Lands which will double the land mass of the game, hopefully adequately addressing any concerns about lack of space.

Well, we've already got "no good squares" and "people leaving the game" on the table. Alex, I'll take Broken Siege Mechanics for $500.

You know what? any game that gives everyone everything they needs and wants will be simcity (or not even that). And most people will feel massively bored by having no competition...
Isn't it fascinating how the vast majority of the doom sayers have been on the losing side of a major recent World War? (or have been advocating the losing side)
Wait... I thought "Tons of people have left" because of this war... If that is actually the case, then there should be tons of cities to take or spots to take... Or that wasn't the case in the first place...

I'm very entertained. I would prefer to have a game that doesn't constantly change all the rules every time a player cries unfair.
For example what if a new player says that they just are not any good sq's left so we they should have the ability to just create 20 food dolemans next to their cities.
You don't change the rules of a game in the middle without losing far more than you gain.

Or most likely players will go to one of the other 1000+ games and sandboxes out there that will try to entertain us...

Or rather than rely on the devs to create all your entertainment, you know you could just play in the sandbox.
And rather than have the devs give everyone 20 food dolemans next to your city. You could find your own best city. Such as one with a lot of troop or adv res sov.
Its a sandbox everything isn't supposed to be spoon fed to you by the devs.

The game is definitely getting crowded, just like most other games of this type. Since all out war is not what this game is about the devs need to come up with alternative forms of entertainment. npc hunting and gathering can only go so far in a more crowded world. Terraforming would be one great idea, powerful magic, more quest, more mysteries, more 3rd party interactions are a few more ideas...
An option to account sitting could be suspended accounts. If I can't be online for awhile i'd much rather suspend my account, and lose my spaces on the map, then lose my account I've been working on forever.
