   Hello everyone, some time ago I proposed to Freyja a different understanding of the time clue. She asked me to post my mails to her, to let others brainstorm this view point further. I hope my thinking is at least going into the right direction, and could be polished with input from others. Since I am lazy, and busy I will just directly post my messages to Freyja:

1. "Hello Freyja,

I had a brief read, and I have an idea. Maybe your understanding of the "right time" is wrong, or is only 50% correct?
“The first moonlight, after dark. First moonlight opens the door.”
You see before 1900 hour there was no dark, there was a day. This is why I think this is about the moonphase, and not the time. So it should be on the first day, when moon starts to bring light, after the moonphase which was the darkest. So what would it be? New Moon?
Now we have Waxing Crescent, and it says: "The first stirrings of chaos begin anew" So the darkness starts to come back again? Then the following phase could be the mentioned "dark", and the next one should be the one we want.
Maybe it would be on the New Moon (if this is the correct phase? after the dark? I am not sure now), at 1900, but possibly already earlier. When does the image of the moonphase change? At 1900, or at 2400? 2401?

2. "I had a look on the moon phases. It is confusing, but my main suspect would be actually current phase, Waxing Crescent, which comes after the New Moon (The supernatural is at lowest ebb, and the rational is triumphant.), as it is opposite to Full Moon.
This is assuming, that "dark" and "light have literral meanings.

Second option would be approach, that "dark" = "chaos"
Full Moon says "Unutterable chaos takes full hold over the land."

Then comes "WANING GIBBOUS 
Its force exhausted, the supernatural begins to recede as rationality fights back."
and after "WANING CRESCENT 
Order is largely restored and the cycle begins afresh."
So here I am not sure, wether it would be waning gibbous or crescent actually. I think gibbous.

But in total, I think it is more about the dark and light in litteral meanings. As chaos is used interchangebly with suppernatural. And this is fey themselves for me."

	What I find intriguing is the line from JJ reads: *Per GM Jejune on this thread:* *I wonder what would happen if the right person caught the right Fey at the right time?* How would one "catch" a Fey? Working with the HoC theory on how to keep tentacles from escaping, what if you surrounded the Fey with armies to "catch" it, and then your diplos land at the right time or moon phase? This may need to be done on a specific tile the Fey visits such as a building tile, or abandoned mineshaft ect. Thoughts?

	There is no moon on the new moon. Send a female elf diplo in after 19:00 around the full moon.

	Yeah, that's what we struggle to figure out as well. Surrounding it sound interesting, but I don't think unit on the map can be actually surrounded. Pretty good attempt was done earlier. They occupied the squares on which fey land. But they just started to bounce between those, without actually landing. Zolvon, I think races assigned to months is tough to determine.
