Entwash now has 8 tentacles nearing the end of 2nd day. We should know over the next 48 hrs if my theory holds any weight. If the tentacle count stops at 10 it most likely means another 2 - 3 months of this tediousness.

Yeah that's a good theory, Epi. 4 months for the 4 sets. I'm guessing the number of tentacles will relate to the strength of the attack. More tentacles=bigger attack.
This is the longest quest in the history of mankind.

Did anyone see the exact day the illy full moon started? It is over now. It was definitely 4 days last month. I was gone the last several days so did not see exactly day when it started and stopped (it may be related to but not spot on the 'real' full moon)... If it was only 3 days this time, perhaps that is why Nesse's town jumped by 6 tentacles (2 a day)? Or perhaps it simply go up to 4*(how many months it has been)... this would be the difference of it growing 4 next month versus...12-ish. And 20 tentacles escaped in total. If anyone noticed whether the illy full moon was 3 versus 4 days, that would tell us.. not much xD but at least another data point. The question is will it go 5 months to get all 20 tentacles or is the number of tentacles increasing every month and we just have not noticed because of unlucky numerology. 4 days x 1 tentacle = 4 tentacles 3 days x 2 tentacle = 6 tentacles 2 days x 3 tentacle = 6 tentacles 1 days x 4 tentacle = 4 tentacles For a total of 20 tentacles ... then, let's see what happens ... TH |
