Maybe you have to wake Audrey a third time.

Thanks Brandmeister, after trying several things (e.g., sending armies, items, diplos), this now seems to be the most reasonable solution. TH |

No way am I going to bother to help wake her up again! In all honesty the rewards are not worth the effort, I would never of bothered if I knew it would take sooooooooooooooooooooooo long. The more logical solution is that the devs just forgot to put an ending to the quest and add a little bit more to the story every few months. The neverending quest. |

Epidemic, you have to play 1 hour of AoA to get the next clue.

Here's a question I haven't heard asked:
When this quest is complete- Will every player (i.e. newbies) be required to go through all this stuff to get the recipes? To a new player, the Heroic Human Statue is a daunting quest! When he sees that he must attack Audrey several thousand times, send hundreds of diplos in hope of catching a FT before she moves at midnight, have tentacles belonging to other races, prod tentacles in Melder territory and at home, have all research done, survive an epic attack, endure 3 weeks of waterboarding, and go broke because he no longer has time for RL... Will he bother? I am a patient person. With games, that is- not so much with humans. But I have been a part of trying to figure this out for almost 2 years- and I'm done with it. I am resigned to the fact that my towns will never produce an Elven Spirit Bow. I am resigned to the fact that even after the discovery is made, only the multi-multi-millionaires among illy's traders will ever be able to afford one. So, to all of you who persevere: good luck! And to the DEVS: interest is waning... those cities still being readied for the "onslaught" are shedding defenses... Nothing new has happened since Nov 6, when Epi's captain panicked. Now people are joking that the clues may be found in other games, and I theorize that it hasn't even been coded yet.

Failed defense by Nesse's forces at Ivory Hall under attack by CleopatraMurk's forces from 2 Little Big Orc Sent By: System Received By: IbnSenna [ACHE] Date: 17 Feb 2015 23:24 Two opposing forces clash against each other. Swordsmen, and especially cavalry, find attacking into very mountainous terrain difficult - although ranged units can excel. Narrow passes and gulleys hinder any mounted units' ability to defend adequately. Nimble spear units have no such worries here, and defending bowmen are able to use their height advantage to maximum effect. Attackers: Unit: Quantity: Casualties: Survivors: Commander: 2 Spear 2 [Kobold Cohorts] Kobold Cohort 1 Damaged for 6, 94 health remains. Troops: [Kobold Cohorts] Kobold Cohorts 11379 724 10655 Defenders: Unit: Quantity: Casualties: Survivors: Troops: [Pure Water Elementals] Pure Water Elementals 1 1 0 Troops: [Pure Water Elementals] Pure Water Elementals 1 1 0 Commander: LongBow 1 [Longbowmen] Longbowman 1 Damaged for 600, 0 health remains. Nesse's captured town still has tentacles and is shrouded in mist, wonder if the new owner gets to continue the quest. You know, the quest that has no ending coded.

I would welcome an explicit statement from the GM's as to whether the end of the quest has been coded yet or not. I will buy more prestige when the question is answered and not before.
