To My Dearest Claudius,
Read this carefully, for when you do, you shall be surprised by it's ending.
As it is written from my own journal, in my own words.
I heard only the crashing of the Rufugian Gates.
I was Krisaga Serpenthelm-Rufugio, a prized child of Lord Matthias Rufugio.
By prized, I do mean.
The selling of me to the very invaders who molest our castle.
Lord Matthias sought to deal with Lord Claudius Antonio.
He didn't know Claudius as well as he thought.
My Father in all his infinite wisdom.
Knew, of Claudius' infatuation with me.
Always smitten, and always the one to dance.
Thrice with me.
We all knew, my Mother, siblings, and I.
Lord Claudius is.
A tyrant.
A dog.
A cowardly fiend.
Yet. I was sold.
Like a trader sells his wares.
So did my Father, offer me and my sisters.
Claudius of course chose me.
Swearing.
To never invade, Serpenthelm-Rufugio Lands.
He lied.
Serpenthelm, my Mother.
Was forced to marry Rufugio.
To keep the Serpenthelm lands.
Now they are gone.
Like me, they are gone.
My Father killed.
My Mother fled.
My Siblings.
I don't give a damn about them.
I refused the Antonio name.
He asked to what name he should call me.
I answered.
Serpenthelm.
You know not where I've gone.
You know not when I'll strike.
You know not the hour.
You know not the day.
The day of your death, Lord Claudius Antonio.
Signed Your Beloved.
Lady Serpenthelm the Fallen.
