Topic: suggestion: marriages and vassals Posted: 25 Apr 2010 at 17:10 |

I've fallen and I want to marry through the game.
What happens if two people marry?
His accounts pass to be linked and can manage them between them.
-----------------
I want to have many vassals, if I attack a person this one should have the option to turn into my vassal one, automatically he would send a percentage of his resources and soldiers when I needed them, it is a way of farming other players but harming them less.

yeah, vassal system is a great idea for a player who begins start in advanced time servers where only very freaks survive, I hate super-freaks players, I preffer normal people who can survive in this servers as a loyal vassal to his feudal lord.

Marriage can add a fun RP aspect, but it would totally screw up the balance of the game. You want marriage? Make each other Viceroys of your respective towns and roleplay being married.
Vassals? +1

the thing with vassals could be against game rules because players might multiple account and just turn those villages into vassals to a main city. it would be hard to determine if that one players supplies another to boost him up or just to be protected. anyway, if it is doable, +1 from me. i might have a lot around me

well, a multiaccounter can send resources and troops without vassal system.
It would be a good idea that the vassals could have his own vassals, like the feudal system.
Example: I am a vassal, I must pay every day a tax to my feudal lord, this tax is sent automatically, if I have soldiers I must send them if my feudal lord orders, but I also can have vassals, and I can have the option to revolt and offer servitude to another feudal gentleman or be independent.

Game mechanics are necessarily limiting. I find it better for these relationships to form/break/be enforced organically, or in the meta game.
