Given that seafaring ships require pathfinding, clearly they won't be in until after pathfinding.

well if you keep your armies in your sleevies, where will you keep your navies?  Be patient, they've said that ships won't be a year '11 project.

We still dont have Factions which went on the list last fall.

be patient and with todays Illy NATO how much pirating do you think you could get away with anyway?

While I am aware a new GM was brought on board, GM Luna, to help speed up the process, we still dont have navies. Troop transports, battleships, blockade runners, goods transports, captains for fleets, and area of influence mechanics for fleet control of waterways.
Oh yeah and pirates for the resource convoys. Which capture the ships and dissapear into the fog of war of course.
