I'm looking forward to seeing what the devs have planned for magic.  I developed my city based on the idea of being a magic powerhouse, but after acquiring all the spells and seeing how they work, I now understand a magic-based city is the weakest city in the game.
The limitations of cooldown and "one spell from a school at a time on a target" severely hamper the development of magic as anything other than support for military or diplomacy.  Considering the enormous costs involved with getting the Mage Tower to its highest levels, the payoff is rather disappointing.

Well combat magic... I know they've mentioned it but I dont know how high it is on their list. Confused

No, its okay.  You can still offer suggestions, although I don't think new magic schools are very high up on the dev's list...

I nowthiskind of discussion has been discused befor but when i read other forums i dont get what they are saying and i want to suggest something about magic.Ok magic can be used in a many ways for one thers blights that is kinda of offensive spells and there are defensive spells from soldirs,diplomats,or shust to help increase resorces this is known as Geomance and Runes but i think there should be a spell that can somehow have similar efect as the scout unit but not as good for example there are some unknown units moving or shust in a square in soverignt or something else and i want to now from were they come a scout can do that and tell how many troops are present so how about a spell that dous that but only tells you from were they come(only from were they come cous its a lot faster than a scout and it needs to have a catch of somesort).
