OCTOBER 12 -- Terror & Hubris -- The Hashashin (SIN), a dynamic, emerging alliance in the Broken Lands, is announcing support of The Han Dynasty in its escalating conflict with Roman Empire (RE). SIN leadership has agreed that protecting the small, upstart HAN alliance and ensuring its integrity and continued growth in the region is in the best interest of our own organization, the development of the Broken Lands as a vibrant gaming region, and the game as a whole.

SIN acknowledges that the onset of the war declaration between RE and HAN appears to be founded on personal attacks and Player-versus-Player (PvP) issues that in and of themselves shouldn't have constituted a war declaration in the first place. That being said, the war declaration by RE against HAN -- regardless of its motivations or seriousness -- set in motion a serious sequence of military actions that SIN finds deeply concerning.

Given the fact that 1) RE declared war on HAN, 2) RE sent the first attacks at Flavius, and that 3) RE is disproportionately larger than HAN and ostensibly cannot defend itself in the wake of this attack, SIN is compelled to assist in defending the integrity of HAN by any means we can offer. Our alliance will use a wide range of resources -- including military resources -- to assist in HAN's defense when or if such actions are necessary.

It is our hope that our public involvement on the side of HAN in this war will ultimately lead to a cessation of hostilities and a lasting peaceful resolution between both alliances.

As a policy, no member of SIN will engage in public or multi-lateral discussions on this or any other issue concerning alliance conflicts. All questions, comments, and negotiations can be directed to Stukahh.

I think you should all reach results-driven consensus in a respectful forum that fosters diversity and recognizes best practices. When you energetically drive to implement your action items, remember to balance urgency and strong ownership with an elevation of individuality and a broad synergy with big picture objectives.

Alternately, if you're going to fight, I'd be happy to sell munitions and crafted items to both sides.

Too late, the bandwagon has rolled on, peace is breaking out already.
