Indeed they do. |
Indeed we do! The long and short of it is that - if more than 2 accounts share the same computer/IP address there is a slightly larger chance that the multi-account-hunting software will flag your account(s) up for further investigation; however in these circumstances we always do a manual review (including getting in touch with the players involved for further explanation) and you won't just find your accounts suspended suddenly. However, the software is substantially more sophisticated than simple IP matching so this is a rare circumstance. We do, indeed, have (for example) single computers on school/university campuses or military bases that are used by multiple account holding players, and the software has no problems in distinguishing between the different players' "playstyles" in order to differentiate between them. i personally have 2 accounts and i sit the other one for time and convenience. me being the computer geek i am have thought you could have more than 2 with this method but i wouldn't try it Especialy since i have to sit the account of my uncle who is currently overseas and might only be able to get on once a month. but i would talk with the GMs because even if you use air port and your home has a wireless router it will still show up via the same ip address the computer would.

I"m sure they do but after about 5PM eastern there will be times, a lot of them, that we do log on at the same time or pretty close to teh same time. I would also help her with shifting resources and things like that. I just love this game to much to lose it to us doing something stupid. It's happened before in other games.

Thanks everyone. I was going to send a petition but I'll see if they respond on here over the next couple of days.
Thanks again!

The way I see it, 4 accounts are better than one. There have been issues with same IP addresses in the past though, so I would consult with the GMs.

You must first take into account who will do the cooking and cleaning once the both of you are Illy addicts. I usually put several pieces of cold chicken next to my computer, along with the bag of cookies and coffee pot. The kitties take care of the cleaning up. Just trying to help.
