FYI - the refunds are not correct.  I created a petition.  Any harmless member reading this - as per my in-game mail please post on our forum if you have an issue and do not add more petitions about this.

You say some players will
'grant a small prestige refund to all the players involved in the Sally Forth refunds.'
Should all players affected by this not get a prestige reward as our plans have all been affected and we have our troops returned as well.
The work gone into our sieges also involved the loss of diplo units due to magic protection which we wont see again and as our sieges were not affected by the sally forth bug  we get no reward at all in that our troops have been returned and our sieges ended....

Diplomats will not be part of any refund operations on either side, else this will become an even more endless pit of "what ifs" than it already is.

Separating those players who specifically spent prestige for the siege events vs those who spent prestige as part of their normal everyday operations is a (frankly) impossible task.

However, we are sympathetic to players involved in these sieges who *may* have spent prestige specifically for it, and we will therefore be granting some free prestige to *all* players involved in the Sally Forth Events, regardless of their siege-specific-intent spend (or lack thereof).

To summarise where we are now:

a) Siege stratagem is turned off
b) Sally Forth option is turned off
c) All sieges have been cancelled
d) All armies involved in sieges, reinforcing sieged cities, reinforcing sieging armies, or simply in occupation in the squares around a sieged city have been returned to their home city
e) All Players who were involved in either of the 3 Sally Forth events mentioned on the earlier page at either Braque's or Wuzzel's cities have been refunded their lost troops during those Sally Forth events plus 24hrs of maintenance for those troops

We're now looking at rebuilding the two cities which suffered during the sieges from the point of the Sally Forth onwards.

Once this is done we will grant a small prestige refund to all the players involved in the Sally Forth refunds.

When this is done, we'll look at finding the root problem of the Sally Forth issue, and when it's found and fixed, we'll re-enable Siege & Sally Forth.

Thanks for bearing with us during this period.

Best,

SC

Yes, diplomats should be restored because many were burned solely with intent to support the siege with rune-clears, assassination, and resource control.  I'd have by far preferred the efforts on both sides to actually break stalemate be respected, but any reversal should at least be complete.

I agree with the Dude I've also lost diplo's in prep for the siege.

Also what about  the prestige for soldiers 10% attack and 10%defence paid for a week and soldiers wasted in defeating thier army's in prep for my siege attack ?

This is not about the battle above but the siege's pulled back because of the bug.

I can't see how or why this bug would have effected diplo units - or their operations - in any way.

So, no.

I might be missing something, in which case please let me know!

Best,
