The bug has been caught and sent to the Illyriad dev camp for some re-education.
Siege & Sally Forth have been re-enabled.

SC-- Thanks for keeping all of us in the loop on this as you are going through it!
All games occasionally have issues, but how the GMs respond and how they involve the playerbase makes all the difference...
It's nice to see White, H?, and the GMs all work towards resolution on this together!
Makes me almost want to break out into a rendition of "Kumbaya", but then again, that might be construed as a form of auditory warfare, so I'll refrain...

KP,
I have archival copies of the sallys from Gronk and can provide them to you if you need them. I took a look and besides the commander damage, I didn't see anything that jumped out at me, but I admit I probably haven't looked at them very deep.
Let me know if you want me to send you copies of mine.

I've had a look into the Sally Forths of the 3rd of July and it appears that whatever this "swapping sides" issue is, it did *not* happen on those 3 Sally Forth events. In the interests of helping players check this for themselves, I've provided a partial snapshot of the server log for those 3 Combat Events to KP to check. I haven't included Army or Commander names, as these may well have changed/been destroyed etc since, but it should be fairly self explanatory to look at and compare to your emails from the combat. The log doesn't contain anything that the mails wouldn't have, it's simply presented in a clearer fashion. Best wishes, GM Stormcrow

No we haven't looked at this and don't intend to either, if someone has a specific bug report regarding this Sally Forth action then please submit it as a Petition.

I believe petitions were opened at the time, although possibly without enough specific info to track down the issue. Unfortunately the reinforcement notices and sally forth reports have now dropped off the bottom of your most excellent email tool so it's going to be hard for players to provide sufficient info.
