Topic: same building & descriptionsPosted: 11 Apr 2010 at 11:27 |

sorry for making so many posts but i'm asking things that i can't find on the forum or in game.
Is it possible to have two or more of the same building in one city? like in travian, if you brought a building to it's maximum level another one could be built. Regarding the descriptions of buildings, researches, spells ...why are they so ambiguous? i can't understand what most of the researches do. "Through the Geomancy School of Magic you gain some control over the environment - harnessing natural forces to benefit your and your allies' cities". ultimately, what does it do? increase production, shortens building time? and it's not just this skill. Where can i find a description of the troops, see what offensive strength they have, what defense? I'm building troops and don't know how many militiamen are needed in offense to kill X number of the same troops in defense. |

You can only have 1 of each building type in each city but you can have more than 1 city.
As for your other questions im sure someone will help with the rest of them

It looks like Geomancy does nothing by itself, it just gives acces to other researches that help city production.
I can't find the military numbers right now, but I'm sure I've seen them. I think the tutorial shows the link.

thanks for the link. It's really useful for further development , although i think some stats are a bit unfair. I've read that humans tend to make the best cavalry and elves the best archers but the differences are unfair for humans. Their stats are slightly bigger than the others( 1 point in offense and 2-3 points in defense for basic cavalry and 5-6 points of offense and 1-2 points of defense for heavy cavalry but a 5 point smaller speed than elven cavalry, when elven archers have good offense and defense not to mention some of the fastest units excepting human cavalry but it does have the fastest heavy cavalry. this is a bummer for humans, dwarves and orcs.
I guess elves are the best choice in game. too bad i can't start all over. have to make the best of it. Hope things are balanced in the future or the overpower of elves is just in my head. Edited by strives - 11 Apr 2010 at 17:55 |

There are a lot of other auxiliary issues at play affecting races' ability to benefit from their unit stat strengths. I think it's a little early to tell whether the game is balanced, but I've no doubt that if it is not, tweaks shall be made.
