Ignoring the unqualified rants from our enemies inbetween, I'm delighted to answer this question.

Sages is part of Consone. It is correct, that about half of our members have alts in other Consone alliances, mostly VIC.
It is also true, that we want peaceful solutions. As this is also true for VIC itself, I see no contradiction. In all those 2 years I had been in VIC/Vicx/Sages, I only witnessed one defense against those players founding TMM later (the rest is history...). H? in the meantime has lead some wars, often quite aggressively, chasing their beaten enemies even after the war clearly was over.
That's not our way!
Sage will fight this war until H? gives up attacking Consone. Nothing more to it.
Sages declared war, as we were left out by H?'s declarations on Consone somehow. But as I stated earlier, Consone is a "Mutual Defense Confed".
I'll lend everyone a dictionary, who struggles with mutual (I looked it up myself  )
We offer taking in players wanting to defend Consone, with the option to stay afterward for research...

Hello TD,
only thing I heard, was that one person started a siege, which was ended soon after. If you look at the stats, there's no siege on RES atm, and I'm sure it will stay like this.
I'll investigate in Consone forum, who, when, why, and will tell you as soon as I found out.
This siege DEFINITLY wasn't ordered by Consone command. If you could send me some more informations (IGM's, reasons, etc...) it would fasten up things, of course...

The attacker is still Consone. Do not try to claim this was unauthorized. WE is still a member of Consone. Do not try to claim this was unauthorized.

RES refused to help Consone (who was NOT a RES Confed), so Consone sieged RES. This Consone bunch is scum of the worst sort.

Some days back a player from RES sent me a friend request and I didn't even exchanged a mail with that player before (or after for that matter)..so should I conclude that all RES players are pushy and are used to send unsolicited requests to everyone and a lot of other crap. These kind of generalizations never represent the truth and I never expected TD to make them. Somebody lost respect.

For me there's a big difference between sending siege engines and a friend request but then my point is about making generalizations. I am in no way defending the siege sent by the consone member but if somebody says that consone is a scum because of that I will like to differ with that person

I base my conclusion on actions, not words.
Siege was sent Siege was not recalled Siege was destroyed Attacker is still in Consone
If Consone was sincere about this not being authorized, they would have kicked the attacker. They have refused to do so. Consone has clearly endorsed and ratified the attack.

I currently have several friend requests from people I don't know (a few I've seen in GC) and who I have not Accepted. I don't know them and use the 'friend list' for people who I actually know and have spent time (in game time) with. I run with the assumption that those people liked what I had to say in GC, liked my forum input and generally agree with my viewpoint(s). I have not received mail by many of these players and do not take offense to their requests.
If the friends list annoys you, you can turn it off. Just because someone requests a friend confirm doesn't mean you must accept.
Your post has no relevance here.
The facts are that a Consone member launched an undeserved siege (the most heinous of attacks) at a RES member and Consone has claimed innocence in the matter. There is an obvious disconnect here!

I've just noticed that a developed VIC player has an alt in Frost too. Im curious as to how widespread this is.
Does the phenomena occurs throughout Consone or is it just a wild coincidence?
