[Is is possible to post the deadline for votes in system time, that way I know if I'm running late or not? Wink ]

Thes wakes to the commotion in the village, and dresses hurriedly. She comes upon the gruesome scene, and offers her shoulder for anyone who needs it.

She then says "Well, looks like we need to prepare another funeral pyre." And then sets about trying to collect what remains of Imin, to give him a dignified burial. She spends the rest of the day preparing the pyre, and cleaning the house.

Hopefully it is not too haunted.

[It is 9pm server time, every other day. That said, I keep delaying it for people who I know are active.. gonna kill off the inactives tonight, I think.]

Now composed, Auraya offers her assistance to Thes then goes to the tavern for a glass of spiced elven wine. All around her, the village is in chaos. Elflings are constantly accusing each other and looking for hidden meanings out of nothing. It was all her fault. Perhaps if she had kept things quiet, things would still be the same as they were..

Ithilwien still starring at Arnesson asked him if he is to stuborn to even hear her, "I said I had no solid alibi, other than Tre I was with no one! I am trying to maintain some sense of normalcy through all this chaos and chaos only breeds more choas. I agree with you that we need to figure out who is doing this and put them to death but I think that we will get more accomplished if we all try to work together, CALMLY!!"

Ithilwien turns from Arnesson and asks into the crowd for people to think hard about the past day and night.  "Have you seen anything unusual? Any persons acting "oddly"? Anything that you think may be of help no matter how insignificant it may be?"

For the second time, the Queen gathers everyone round for the vote.

Arnesson: Vibs
Halithore/Hali: No Lynch

Adashia: Absent
Ithilwien: Arnesson
Poopnug/Tuon: Coltaine Blackwing

Thes: No Lynch
Ninja Muncher: No Lynch
Night Owl/Finwë: Absent
Coltaine Blackwing: Absent
Kabu: No Lynch
Vibs: Absent
Princess Elfin: Absent

Facing the crowd, she announces, "Tonight there will be.. no lynch!"

A small, disheartened cheer went up. The crowd was somewhat smaller than it had been when Susan was killed. As is dissipated, Auraya decided to make home visits to those who had missed both votes.

As she entered Princess Elfin's cottage, she saw everything was is chaos. No-one replied to her calls and fearing the worst, Auraya made a thorough search. It seemed like everything had been packed hurriedly and Princess Elfin had fled the village in fear.

Moving on to Adashia's home, it saw a similar story. Larders and wardrobes had been raided, no sign of any orc activity. With a heavy sigh, Auraya headed over to Coltaine's dwellings.

As she stepped through Coltaine's door, a dark feeling crept over her. Scared of what she might find, Auraya called out for help but no-one was close enough. In a back room, was a lair of some kind. In it was stored roots, berries, powders and glass jars with bizarre contents Auraya did not what to think about. In the centre of the room stood a cauldron with grey water bubbling inside. Dust had been disturbed where books had been grabbed from shelves and Coltaine's personal effects where nowhere to be found.

Deciding that all three had abandoned her, Auraya went home with a feeling of regret. At least they were safe, she decided.

[When I first typed this post up, I wrote by accident, 'Tonight there will be.. no lunch!' - made me giggle xD]

Sloping off from the crowd that had gathered for the announcement Hali headed towards the tavern, he felt relieved no one had been wrongly lynched however at the same time he was aware that without some action from the elves the town would be torn apart from within. As much as it hurt to admit it sitting on the fence was no longer an option and he convinced himself he would, for the sake of the town choose someone for the next vote.

When he arrived at the tavern he ordered a glass of ale and sat in the corner, as more elves began to come back to the tavern he felt himself looking at each trying to spot anything to make his hard decision easier though after a while he questioned whether he even knew what he was looking for. The elves which had fled the town began to enter his mind, he thought for a while about fleeing himself but having lived in the town for a long time decided to see this out until the end.

Imin's ghost floated through the tavern wall and straight through Hali as he sat down with his drink .. "wooooo" went Imin half heartedly, then faded out of existence again.

Thes awoke, belly grumbling, the prospect of having no lunch placing her in a foul mood.

[If we start voting for "no lunch", surely someone will die from starvation! ... or we'll lynch the innkeeper! :p]

After a few days spent locked up in his room and asking for meals to be brought upstairs, Kabu felt it was safe enough to go down and sit in the main hall for a change. The food had not been poisoned, the drinks not spiked, so the bartender was not likely one of "them". But that's all the clues he could gather from being stuck in his quarters, although he could hear the uproar through the walls.

Crossing the main hall unconspicuously, Kabu chose a seat in a dark corner and started scanning the bunch of patrons for any suspicious signs. Nothing out of the ordinary at first sight, except for an unusually agitated elf. The strange fellow was sitting at the counter, drinking a large tankard of beer while cursing orcs loudly, practically yelling at the poor bartender. It was hard to admit such unrestrained anger was coming out from an elf...
