You'd better get your story straight. If you aren't recruiting new (as in new to the game) then you are nothing but a recruiting conduit for Consone. Nothing more, nothing less, don't glorify what you are doing.
And please, as the founder of T? Do NOT compare yourself to them again.

We did have the option to join the other training alliances, every member was offered the option to leave... ...so go ahead, do your worst...

Why would you put small players in the middle of a big war? Sorry, that's not respectable and serves no purpose. Small players don't belong in this war, I'm sorry, there is no joy in reading attack reports that include losses from small players. Again, putting them in harms way has no honor.

OK, I'll restrict myself to sentences like: "LL does a good job" or something like that, if that makes you happy...
And... I NEVER called Sages a training alliance, NEVER! This word appeared in TD's question, and was denied in every post I did.
But we DO train players daring to join a research alliance, which values some confeds as mutual defense.

Ehm,... war sadly is part of Illy, so why not show them combat. Further, our Confederation is under attack by your alliance => you're free to choose your targets. Loosing units won't harm small players, and as long you don't start burning down cities with 1k pop, I'm fine with that...

I do not know why you do not just answer the question posed to you. Either you are a training alliance or you are not, quite honestly, since sages declared war then the point is rather moot and the conclusion can be reached that you are not a "training alliance".  You do a disservice to legitimate training alliances throughout Illy with your claims on one hand and your actions demonstrating otherwise on the other hand. Training alliances are neutral for a very good reason. Considering the present evidence that you are not a training alliance and barring future evidence to the contrary, DARK will not respect SAGES claim to be a training alliance. Something to remember if we happen to cross paths.

So Mara Zyra left Illy? Did I forget the announcement? [answer is most likely "of course, old man."]
She was the reason RES had NAP'd SAGES as soon as it was founded. (canceled recently do to established Consone conflicts with RES) I feel better now knowing that MZ is no longer running SAGES.
So MZ, left, then her account is on the count-down for system purge? Do y'all intend to siege her cities?

Mara is not actively playing Illy atm, due to RL, but might come back. Thus, we keep her account via sitters. But no topic of this war, I'm sure...

So a Consone alliance is using tiny players to reinforce cities? Am I understanding this correctly? Part of keeping smaller players out of harm's way is keeping them from sending troops. You can't say "don't attack our new players but we are going to use them for troops". It can't be both ways. I think all new players should be kept out of war. I think any responsible alliance would do just that.
