Khells. I would agree. What I should have said was that absa failed horribly and pretty much had it coming.
my thought process from what I have read. and I admit, I skimmed A LOT Someone attacks you so you engage them in diplomacy with a demand and a threat. They ignore your warnings and become surprised when you follow through on your threat. regardless of all the other post in this vvvveeeeerrrrrryyy lllooooonnnnnggggg thread, it is silly to ignore someone's warning and then become surprised when they follow through. Aarrrr! just sayin' |

Dear PirateKing,
Actually, the situation (as reported to me) isn't as simple as Absa completely ignoring people. But lets say, for the sake of argument that you are right and Absa did completely ignore Rhy, I still don't think believe sieging cities and wiping them off the map is appropriate response to loss of replaceable military units on a mining square. Obviously, other folks disagree and believe it is an appropriate response. Other folks believe there was a perceived agreement but terms were not followed-through in a timely manner. On and on, talk and more talk. So, in the midst of this I, Khells, not anyone else, had to decide if I was going to help save cities, or not help save cities. That really is all there is to say.

I nominate this one for the analogy contest. Perhaps H? should take his city off the siege list.

Dear Rasak,
Okay, I will start the ball rolling here. Harmless? ARE a fine bunch of players supporting friends. Now we need to see if we can save those cities from destruction. After the smoke clears, then maybe the player community can work some more on how to share these harvesting nodes. Remember Classic Star Trek? I feel like we are withing The Gamesters of Triskelion. The Devs have set up a mechanic that lets folks fight over mines (grinning).
