The distinction of the policy of administration and the administration of policy is an old question actually, that noone can really answer. Luckily, the best effort has already been done though : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dIto5mwDLxo Still no result though :p :) |

I am pleased to inform you that peace talk will begin soon...
" The RHY leadership council is in talks regarding terms to work towards a diplomatic solution between our respective alliances. However, if ABSA is looking for a cease-fire while negotiations commense between us, Consone and SkB are going to have to stop attacking our positions. This evening, we have received attacks from Tiny Overlord and Mcall of Invictus, and ABSA forces have sallied forth with Nesse of Dwarven Lord in the army. Moreoever, SkB has inflicted over 10,000 RHY casualites in a half day of attacks. Please understand that we will not recall siege engines and commence a cease fire during negotiations until there is a pledge from Consone to stand down and a demonstrative halt in attacks. Regards, Jejune " Absaroke will be removed from Keppen region, then RHY counsil will agree on set of terms. Jejune, RHY's diplomat, hastened process of relocation with seting siege under zebazga's walls. Numerous Nightbringers and H? members are helping too, so I hope we will settle for peace soon... |

Hey Greg..
I don't see that (relocation from Keppen) at all in the message, unless you don't think Consone will agree to stand down so you can find peace because that is apparently the condition of the cease fire. Note: Please understand that we will not recall siege engines and commence a cease fire during negotiations until there is a pledge from Consone to stand down and a demonstrative halt in attacks Therefore iff Consone stops attacking, and demonstrates no more attacks.. sieges can be recalled. If you are looking to work out peace.. that sounds reasonable. (At least to me)

Recall the sieges and they won't need to attack them in order to defend themselves. This is not complicated. Demanding that someone allow their cities to be destroyed as a condition of peace is unreasonable.
If necessary, withdraw 3-4 sieges as a gesture of good faith. Give peace a chance. Start it yourselves. Edited by Rill - 12 Oct 2012 at 08:28 |

The good faith is that they are willing to talk peace with ABSA.
They went to war with ABSA due to something ABSA did (not stating a right or wrong here, just a fact) and so in order for ABSA to seek peace with RHY, RHY must stand down to talk peace.. what logic truck did that fall of! Seriously, I can't think of to many wars (really none off hand) where a group that went to war over an offence done to them, stood down first because the other side wanted to talk about peace.. unless the attacking group was loosing. This is simple diplomacy here and people just have to make it harder.. like you always tout RILL.. be the bigger man and stop first. Consone - not ABSA, was asked to stand down. Simple. Not hard, and in fact nothing out of the ordinary. Every war Dlord has been apart of has always done this.. and others as well (not just our allies). You might have done it different Rill, but you are different bird.. even, if possible, a different Crow. :) If ABSA is serious about peace talks.. this is a no brainer

There's all sorts of drama going on in general, and it's being fairly discussed. I just happened to catch this one ^^^ For the record, Nesse is in Dwarven Druids, not Dlords. (to the uninitiated reader, H? and Dlords have one of the oldest Confeds in the game..so you can see how a Dlord player being caught "on the other side" might have spiced things up even more than they already are..)

Just want to point out that ABSA is a part of Consone so to say that Consone will have to stand down is to say that ABSA have to stand down too
