I abhorre this sterotyping.
I have some Orcs who are pretty handy with an axe, fail, mace and sword or two... or a combination of all of the above. Why have a shield when you can have two swords? Shields are for pansies (unless they have lots of spikes on them).
Not that we don't have lots of spears too... every Orc starts out with a spear... but variety is the spice of life and having 1,000 different ways to kill people certainly keeps things fun.

Not so important, but I'd change the human's weapon from axe to sword.
Not set in stone, but as a general guideline
sword -> human
axe -> dwarf
bow -> elf
spear -> orc
