You're being a bit harsh there SunStorm about the foresight,I think the heart of the issue lies with _duQ getting tired of the game,being convinced to stay, and then deciding that if he was to continue,that he would campaign to remove towns that were near to his cities.Ordinarily this could be a trecherous path to take as it may upset people,but if you have reached the point ingame of being passed caring,then it probably translates to doing things your own way and not concerning yourself with the consequences,breaking the shackles shall we say.Still,when veteran players leave the game it only means that the rich get richer and ultimately the poor get poorer,it is driving a wedge further between the elite and the also rans.

Everyone has a time limit playing this game,it would appear _duQ has reached his.And so Illy loses another established player,the pattern continues._duQ,for or against him,has helped create an interesting tale in Illy, which has entertainined many,solidifying some and separating others.No game rules were broken just a matter of the community's moral opinions (and propaganda) colliding with an individual's,there was only ever one outcome.Good luck _duQ,supposedly we are better off without you,pity the bully police couldn't work out a way to preserve all concerned.

Well I never had it sent to me and I never contacted anyone about it. In fact, I am not even writing this post

Yes, this mail was sent to me yesterday and apparently it is circulating...  I messaged Azreil right after I got it to give him a heads up about it - however, I made it very clear to him and the person that sent it to me that I would NOT place this up in the forum.  (~_~)  yet here it is.

Ahhh, that just makes me all warm inside.

And from the messages  above i'm of the opinion _duQ is just about as selfcentered as a supermassive black hole. So because you were incredibly militant and had 4K troops at about the same time you got your 2nd city (the gold upkeep on that must have been massive) you believe everyone has exactly the same capabilities as that.

And i share your sentiment Dhenna. Cowardice is a sad sad thing.
