I think it is a great idea and would also suggest the same icon or such be used for the sovereignty page itself when determining a building.  It would a be a simple change that would help save time and be a better gui overall.

Or you could just research everything. There's not much reason not to, so unless you're in a hurry to get one particular research done you should just research whatever you can. Unless you're Rill, in which case you should devise some hard to follow and seemingly meaningless pattern to follow...

I find myself confused about the meaning of any given title for Sov Research.

  1. On the full Research Tree, could we have some UI row-grouping into Basic Res, Adv Res, Military groups, and others?
  2. Could we also have an icon to the left of the left-to-right path, which gives a clue what ability the path serves. This could be used on both the Research Tree and the Available to Research page.
