If you decide to go with the prestige boost for research points; you can simply the management by using auto-renew on boosts. Auto-renew will automatically renew the boost when it's due to expire as long as the account has the prestige on it to do so which is easier to keep track of.

The only way to really go negative with RP is via sov. You can reduce the RP cost of sov with chancery of estates but it only works on the first level of sov. Depending on your city type though its definitely worth it to have 1-2 of them. Next is taxes higher taxes means less RP/hr. If your really having trouble getting RP you will have to lower your taxes. If your willing to spend money or gold you can get a 20% boost with prestige. I would be careful with this however because you will need to be fairly active an pay attention when the prestige boost is required. You can do this for all the basic res actually. I think the most common boost is food. Books also cost RP to make. Which many people do as they are required for many diplo units. If you are really hurting for RP you can buy a ton of books and turn them into RP but that would get very expensive. You would really have to do the math on if that is ever worth it I've never tried. |

I am constantly in the red in research points but my points bal is 360,000+. Is this because my book level is at zero? Don't think so coz reading books just provides points in the library. My library is lvl 20. So why do I show negative points? Ty
