Hello
I don't expect that it should be done. I originally suggested that the community should carry out an opinion poll on that point.
Actually Starry since you are Director of Harmless? , the most powerful alliance in Illyriad, I invite you to take a step back for a moment and consider what benefits would be brought by the "institutionalisation" of conflict in Illyriad.
Harmless? has very much reached that age old male objective - "the top of the food chain" . There are no other competitors. No other alliance can compete with H? in Illyriad.
If Harmless? were to carry on asserting their superiority by reaching their own decisions as to who declare war on without at least consulting with the Illyriad community you may start to be viewed as a tyrrany by others and the game may suffer as a result.
On the other hand if Harmless? were to use it's superiority to benefit the game by supporting an "institutionalisation of conflict " you might usher in a new era of diplomacy and game play into the sandbox which isn't testosterone fueled. Do you see what I mean by this?
One small step towards achieving this would be to agree that ALL alliances should serve notice (say 7 days) with grounds for war in the forum before making any declaration. I thinks it is at least worth having poll on this point . What about you?
