Oh, and who was the eejit, in the nicest possible sense of the word that
is, who thought:

Stormcrow's test account on Live (Sigurd) has dropped his New Player
Protection temporarily to test things during this time of crisis, I
know... I'll send a bunch of thieves in to his city during this window
of opportunity and see what I get.
I saw them inbound and magicked up a small number (some 2K or so)
advanced thief units to protect me, and I hope you learnt a useful
lesson

Attempt 1 repatriated stuck armies to their home cities, yay.
Players then report that they were still saying that they were "in motion" and couldn't be moved
Attempt 2 set them to be static and not in motion
Players then report that they were under "reinforcing" orders rather than "defending"
Attempt 3 set them to be "defending" and not "reinforcing"
Third time's the charm, I trust...
