1. Clicking on the background of a list item should toggle its selection.
2 . It would be nice if shift-click selects from the last-clicked item to the just-clicked item. |

These are some ideas I might be able to work into Butler. In the mean time, when using Butler now the selection toggle cycles between selecting unread, read, all, and none rather than just all and none. I find that takes care of business well for me, because I read the important mail then just click twice to select and delete all the unread spam.
Butler also moves the delete button to the top of the page for more convenient access (after "compose" comes "mark read," "mark unread," then "delete" instead of wasting a row at the top yet still having most buttons at the bottom). |

Delete button on the read message screen and then open the next message automatically, pretty please.
