So, are we still being quiet? I live on the Pacific coast, in Coos Bay Oregon. I was up at 4am, PST, and drove the half mile to watch the waves from a safe altitude of approximately ft above sea level. The first waves of tsunami came in around 710am, and were nothing to notice against an already low tide. I went back for a nap. Around 9am I woke up and tried to find a yard sale, to no avail. (Get it? Sale - avail?) I thought that was funny. Any hows, if that is what an earthquake does, I can't wait for the meteor. I have lived through 2 major quakes in Washington State, as well as being in the shadow of Mt St Helen's, remember her? I have been shot out of a cannon, pierced through with 7 foot long 46 pound spears, eaten by rhinos, and stolen by a traveling monkey community which was later found out to be working for the now president Obama. Apparently the monkeys thought I was Charlie Sheen and just wanted to party. That was a very long weekend. Now I have added to my list of death defying feats a tsunami, and a Friday morning void of yard sales.
ps: Obama is NOT in spell check.
