It seems the only way of loosing unit voluntarily is to send them, one by one, into a heavily guarded city. Which sounds not so fun to me.

I would propose the ability to demobilize. Say, if one let go of some units, 50% of the resources they costed are returned or something. Just to make it possible to delete the darn units. :)

And while I'm at it, something that could be fun is an ability to decide which state it is in. Like for example, one say one is in peace and get certain bonuses (like extra cattle and books, since they are chillin' more). And a state of war, where weapon and armors production increases while others goes down.

You can delete units from military summary if they are detached from army but you don't get any resources back.
