- Data feeds - Combat & Other
- For you data-junkie-number-crunchers out there, combat reports (via
ingame mail) now have an 'XML' link at the bottom which takes you
directly to a nicely-formatted XML file for the combat, with lots of
summarised data about what just happened, where and when.
We will be extending this "one-off" report system out to include
blanket-permission, revokable, Combat API keys for players - so once
someone (me looks meaningfully at a few of the more public-spirited
tech-savvy players) writes a public killboard application we'll be
*very* good to go!
Please note that this XML Combat data is a trial system, so if you spot
any anomalies in the data, please let us know via a Petition. We think
it's entirely accurate, but it's worth keeping an eye out for strange
results.
There are also a couple of new 24hr-refreshed data feeds for Alliance and Player Data available as well.
