It appears that sending an army to occupy a tile while you are in the process of claiming it results in the time "To Lose Sovereign Level" being halved instead of the "time to claim" being halved. This means that by occupying a tile you're in the process of claiming, it does NOT speed up the time to claim, as described in http://forum.illyriad.co.uk/coming-soon-sovereignty-brace-for-impact_topic765.html - release document

Steps to reproduce:
* Send an army to occupy a tile for a brief time. Example: 5 minutes.
* While it is there, claim it to start the timer.
* Go to your sovereingty display at your castle and note both "Current claims, cancellations & counterclaims will resolve" and the "Time To Lose Sovereign Level"
* When your army returns, send it back to occupy the same tile.
* When it arrives, you'll see the "Time To Lose Sovereign Level" has been halved, and the time that the claim will resolve at the same time, but the time to be lost is halved

I have not checked what happens if the initial army is sent to occupy for, for example, 6 hours, for the entire anticipated length of time to claim rather than allowing it to return and sending anew.
