I recently got some specialized equipment (war axes) for the tourney coming up. But how can I equip my commanders. The "equip" option only appears for the troops in the army view. But even there when I click on equip, my War Axes don't appear. I looked in the commander option but saw nothing there to equip them. Ty.

Commander screen. The black silhouette of a soldier has three boxes. Click those and it will show you what you can equip to each slot on the commander.

You will only be able to equip war axes to infantry commanders or troops. Commanders and troops can only be equipped with the type of weapon or armor that was used to make them. If no weapons was required (such as human t1 cavalry, chariots), then a crafted spear can be equipped. If no armor was required (such as orc t1 spears, kobolds), crafted leather armor can be equipped.
