This is not a post about playing Illyriad on a phone/tablet. This is a suggestion of an actual app that would aid in playing the game.

How about an app that would just help out players, who would then go to the website for actual gameplay? My main desire for such an app would be for phone/table notifications when various events happen. The app would ask you which events you want to be notified about, like caravans/cotters/harvesters returning, so that you could give them orders again without having them waste time sitting around town, about buy or sell orders fulfilled, or IGMs so you'd know to respond? Just getting informed about various events would be a big help.

This would be a much less daunting task (I would imagine) that a full-blown app for playing the game.

Is there anyone else who would find this useful? Any other suggestions?
