Hi everyone,

As per discussions on the forum, effective immediately:

The current Full Combat API Key listing returned from the URL:

http://elgea.illyriad.co.uk/external/combatreportsapi/[APIKey]

... now only returns data from the point that the key was issued, rather than including historic data.

This means that when you generate or regenerate a Combat Reports API Key from this page:

http://elgea.illyriad.co.uk/#/Player/Account?page=api

... anyone you share this new key with will only be able to retrieve combat reports going forward from the moment you generated or regenerated the key.

As has always been the case, on key regeneration all older keys are instantly rendered invalid, even for historic data retrieval.

And as has also always been the case, using Covert Operations for your military activity continues to suppress the specific combat data returned by the API key.

Please note that the Key Generation DateTime stamp takes precedence over the LastDateTime parameter, if supplied by the API Key query.

If anyone experiences any difficulty with this, please do let me know in this thread.

Best wishes,

SC

EDIT:  All current keys that are in existence have also had this rule applied to them.  ie They will only retrieve data from the point they were issued.

No probs!

In response to a question about current keys, and this effect on them:

All current keys that are in existence have also had this rule applied to them from this point on.

ie They will now only retrieve data from the datetime stamp that they were issued.

Regards,

SC
