ever since the change over to the new server ive heard numerous accounts of the game fully freezing on people and being pretty much booted from the game. ive also known at least half a dozen people now who have abandoned cause it is frustrating and a close friend of mine who i got to play is about to do the same. ive also experienced it on my alt. chat freezes up, buttons wont click, refreshing the game takes you back to login page etc.

i understand that as ive posted this ill get the usual clear the cache and blah blah things to fix it. its all been done and still happens. if this were an isolated incident and happened to one player, yeah i would say its the players computer. but as it has happened to a few and only ever since the server change over, i can only imagine its on the server side. Devs, have you been told about this? are you fixing it? or is losing players due to login or sever issues booting people off acceptable?

I have not received reports from dozens of people, no. Before anyone quits the game, PLEASE tell them to file a petition or send me a mail either in game or at community@illyriad.co.uk. We cannot do anything if they simply leave as we would have no information.

Honestly, we lose and gain so many players in a given time that would not notice a pattern unless it was massive; this is why we need people to speak up. Tell them to email me! :)

I have noticed the chat freezes on my iPad Safari and PC Firefox. It sticks for many minutes and then suddenly spews out 30 lines that I missed. Sometimes I get a red disconnect message in the chat window, and reloading is the only fix.

I have also noticed intermittent "sticking" when issuing trade and army movements, where the wheel starts to spin but never resolves. I assume that this is different from when trade, diplo, and military units arrive back, but their status in the upper right tracker is stuck at Completed indefinitely, and the units aren't available until you reload the page or change cities to force a refresh.

the game works well with Microsoft's new Edge with Windows 10.
